At The Model CoOp, we aim to celebrate the lives and careers of incredible women. Those who are pioneers, change-makers, and who bring a unique point of view to the fashion and beauty landscapes. Our first post for the new decade will survey some of our favourite female fashion photographers working today.
Ellen von Unwerth
Corsets, stockings and voluminous hair, all of her women are larger than life. Ellen von Unwerth has grown to be a key image-maker known for her ultra-feminine, provocative editorial work and campaigns. Her women are sexy and self-assured. Known for her intimate and irreverent portraits that capture her subjects’ personalities and fleeting moments, Pamela Hansen continues to be sought by editorial and advertising clients for this trademark style. Olivia Malone's photography always conveys an aspect of the raw documentary coupled with a soft and intimate quality.
